It's built to provide a lower spin, ball flight, and higher speed. Honestly, I really liked the x7's.
I'm more going off experience from club fitting hundreds of players, very rarely have I ever had a steel shaft change of a same/similar flex change spin by greater than 300 rpm of spin. You are looking at less than a 1CPM increase. Also: Congrats on Savy getting another personal best of 337 yards at the WLD event in Mesquite! Lee Janzen played them, that's how much it matters to really worry about iron shafts. I know PX's are supposed to launch higher, but I'm having trouble believing something at FCM 7.5 lauches THAT high. [quote name='J.W.' To players who fight to keep spin down, any gain might be considered way less. HOCKEY. DG Tours are exceptional. You dont need to do LD to swing these though. Tip an X100 by 1.5 inches and you've got yourself a very stiff shaft. Good luck! That's quite a bit for a steel shaft change but its not a dramatic difference at the end of the day. Scratch ain't s***. Happy to help! The stiffest shafts are Nippon Modus 3 130 X and Dynamic Gold X100 X7. For example, after recently switching to x100's, breaking par is only a couple of strokes away now. I found 3-pw x100 tour issued shafts on ebay for $249. The x100's did what I wanted them to do 9 times out of ten. so an x100 would be suited for a person? No, but I've fit hundreds of players and some very talented. Hm, I wouldnt say I spin my x100's 'too much' but I do from time to time get more spin than I want with my mid-pw. 3 Reviews Add Your Review. timestamp='1355720559' post='6079617'] Dynamic Gold X100 First Impressions We actually thought the Dynamic Gold X100 was lighter than 130 grams. They launch slightly lower than X100s but spin a bunch less.
For the past five years I've played the Dynamic Gold x100 and just ordered a new set of iron. They're super stable and if you're able to work the ball anyway, you shouldn't have any problems.
